About
THE FINEST is a high-end, top-of-the-line car club based in San Diego. The design behind this was focused on maintaining a clean and modern look to represent the aesthetic this business is going for.
Problem
It was quite difficult to simplify the design when so many ideas arose as I collaborated with business students to create this company. It took some time to narrow down on something that could both represent the members of THE FINEST and highlight its incredible service and amenities included with membership.
Design Solution
A symbol/badge for a logo worked best to represent the exclusivity of being a member! The design of the logo helped bring forth a system such as the use of typography and sharp-looking icons all under a 3 color palette.
Logotype
With its use of the shield and geometric shapes, our emblem symbolizes the modern and high-end qualities we represent at THE FINEST. The typeface used for the logo is sans serif Ambit while serif typeface Gelasio is used for any body text.
Moodboard
My moodboard narrows down on my thoughts when considering the design for THE FINEST. Fancy cars, clean and modern-looking environments with a minimal use of color. This modern look and feel assisted me when creating the logo. Keeping in mind the idea of bold and contemporary for the emblem logo mark.

Applications
THE FINEST aims to have a modern look for our facilities, whether it is the storage for our member's high-end vehicles or a lounge where they can relax and take in the benefits of being San Diego's elite.
